Last year this field was planted in wheat. A large power line runs down North property boundary, making a prime roosting spot for dove.

This year the property was planted in soy beans. This is not typically known for ideal dove crop. However, this property typically has good crop of native sunflowers, Johnson grass, native millet and other seed producing weeds.
