Summary
Get the best of both worlds in one hog hunting package. One night of thermal hog hunting and a day/night of stand over feeder hog hunting. Hunt is 3 days 2 nights with guaranteed shot opportunity on pigs during your trip. Package includes 2 nights of lodging. Lodge is 5 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin with full kitchen and grill so your welcome to bring food to prepare during your stay, we also provide all the pillows, linens and towels. $875/person with a minimum of 3 hunters to book.
On your first night of your arrival your thermal hunt will includes guide, unlimited pigs, guns, ammo, Pulsar thermal optics. The thermal hunts are fully guided hunts. Your guide will take you from field to field scanning for pigs using thermal optics. Once we find a group of pigs, we will stalk up within 30-40 yards, line up the hunters on shooting sticks and shoot. You kill as many as you can hit. Then we move to the next field. Typically, we get on 2-4 stalks a night and hunts average 6 hours.
Your stand over feeder hunt will take place the following day/night. We will scout and check cameras before your hunt and show you the blinds and feeders with the most pig activity and let you know what times pigs are moving. You provide your own weapon and hunt on your own, either bow, rifle, or pistol on this hunt. If you have your own thermal or night vision you may use from the stand only, no spotting and stalking during this hunt. All our feeders are equipped with Elusive Wildlife motion sensor lights so that you may hunt throughout the night when pigs are nocturnal without night vision. With that said these lights are solar powered. We maintain and test lights regularly, however with unpredictable Texas weather the technology remains unreliable. With overcast days and high activity after dark on a feeder for several days can drain the solar batteries and lights can become dim. With that said we strongly suggest rifle mounted green or red lights for assurance. There is no kill fee, no limit on pigs, no trophy fee.

Let me save you some time and money. My first two trips , one to South Carolina and one to Texas with different outfitters were both fails. I picked three curl outfitters mainly because they have a guaranteed shot on their Thermo hunt. I picked the thermal hunt and stand hunt package. We shot several pigs on the Thermo hunt the first night. The second night we shot several more from the stands. It was absolutely an awesome trip. Our guides name was Corey. He worked very very hard to make our trip a success. Corey won’t be available the beginning of April next year because I’m booking another hunt requesting him as my guide.
